Fixed Gear vs. Single Speed Bikes
What’s the difference between a fixed gear and a single speed bike? Fixed gear and single speed bikes are close cousins in the cycling world, except one cousin dropped out of high school, is covered in tattoos, and drinks a concerning amount of cheap beer; and the other cousin purposefully takes 8:00 AM classes at the local state college. Although one cousin gets way more street cred while the other cousin is “the mildly successful one” that’ll probably go on to be a dental hygienist (or even a dentist!), they both enjoy a healthy amount of self-inflicted suffering in the name of becoming stronger, better cyclists and get along well at group rides (which is definitely not the case for other types of cyclists).

The Presidents' Trophy claims another victim, as the Florida Panthers became the first casualty of this year's Division Finals. This was an absolute dream season for the Panthers. 58 wins, 122 points, and their first Presidents' Trophy in franchise history. They were definitely expected to go very far, but they had to do something they hadn't done since 1996: win a playoff series. It was tough, but the Panthers did it, winning a six-game opening round over the Washington Capitals, with Carter Verhaeghe's OT winner (his second of the series) ending the 26-year itch.

When people think about tennis attire, they are most commonly focused on finding the right tennis racket. That is to say, tennis shoes are primarily responsible for allowing you to move freely and safely on the tennis court. Especially if you're a committed tennis player that doesn't shy away from playing tennis each and every week, tennis shoes of high quality are a must. This way, you'll minimize your chances of slipping and getting injured.
