XFL Week 2 Recap: You Always Remember Your First
My anticipation for the Week 2 of the 2023 XFL season began as soon as the last game of Week 1 ended. Again, even when the incoming pandemic resulted in the 2020 season being cut short and paused, I knew we'd see this league back again. After one week of the league's latest return, my good feeling about the XFL increased. The league definitely has staying power now, especially with The Rock and Dany Garcia running things.

Play it at Wembley. Play it at the old White Hart Lane. Play it at Stamford Bridge. On a normal day, the venue doesn't matter. Tottenham don't beat Chelsea. Put aside the context that we are two awkward teams (one with a little more luck than the other) wrestling with our imperfections. The context never seems to matter. Form goes out the window in a derby game some try to tell me. Maybe for some. But for Spurs, our best teams, our worst teams, our new ones and our old ones all lose to the Blues. It was a Chelsea team on its knees that ended our title hopes in 2016.

Expect Manchester United’s highway, not the hard way dealing with Mason Greenwood
Remember how being innocent before being legally found guilty was a “debate over” thing? Ah, those were the days. Nowadays, it’s more like you can get a nail out of the board, but a hole remains no matter what materials you put in to fix it.
