Today, the Queens, NY-based rock outfit King Falcon has released “Ready Set Go,” the latest taste of their upcoming, debut album, slated for release later this year. A supercharged indie rocker with a Black Keys sense of blues-punk dirt, produced by Marshall Altman (Citizen Cope, Wayne Shepherd, Mark Broussard) and mixed by 12-time Grammy-nominated mixing engineer and producer Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Fleetwood Mac), “Ready Set Go” captures the frenetic urban sprawl of the band’s hometown of New York City. Melding indie-rock adventurousness with Classic Rock swagger, King Falcon’s ultra-catchy songwriting recalls artists like Black Keys, Jack White, Cage the Elephant, The Strokes, Royal Blood, and The Killers. “Ready Set Go” will be featured on Alternative Radio’s SubModern specialty radio shows on June 9th-10th.

AI on AI: Omni Predicts Current Discussions Around Artificial Intelligence
As more and more Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools become available there have also been additional applications theorized and warnings issued by the scientists involved. Taking a look at vintage issues of Omni magazine shows that our conversations around AI are rooted in a decades-long history of wanting AI to take over human tasks and invent new possibilities, and that it was known that this would not come without consequence. Current AI tools such as ChatGPT can help further these conversations, this time with the direct involvement of AI.
