In the heart of a sprawling metropolis, where towers of glass and steel scrape the sky, there existed a place that seemed untouched by time. Nestled between towering structures, its cobblestone streets wound like serpents through a maze of forgotten alleys. This was Haven's Hollow, a neighbourhood steeped in history, where every brick whispered tales of yesteryears.

My new writing project is to write and share stories in Gregg shorthand. In these first short pieces I am a little rusty since I learned this skill in my Junior year in high school and I have been graduated for 41 years. Just remember this first 'lesson' and subsequent lessons are from McGuffey's primer reader and really not much to read. I am continuing to practice and review my shorthand so a few symbols will be slightly off kilter. Please comment on this and others that I am going to write and share.

Indie games have often been an outlet for retro video game genres. Of course, what is considered nostalgic for the developer depends on the games they grew up playing. In the past, side-scrolling platformers were the genre of choice, but now it's mongames. Mongame is a genre that revolves around collecting and raising creatures, popularized by the role-playing game Pokémon. Recent years have seen a resurgence of mongames, with games like Temtem, Monster Crown, and Nexomon: Extinction releasing last year. However, indie mongames have generally failed to resonate with many Pokémon fans. While there is demand for mongames, the indie games that belong to this genre have missed the mark in three significant ways.
Tomorrow I will finally give my dad what he deserves
My dad never bought anything for himself. He has been through a lot, work and the working hours are very hard. All my life I only saw him spending all of his money for my mum, my siblings and me. My dad would never buy himself new clothes, wears clothes for longer than 20 years. He always had the oldest phone in my family. He even bought my mom her dream car. I‘m being honest, I also grew up very spoiled. For college, I got a laptop, an iPad and for my 18th birthday I got a car.
