The Point Of No Return?

Unpleasant World

While the world still is being ravaged by the Covid-19 virus and all it's mutations somehow one can not help think that maybe this pandemic was no accident. The three largest Pharmaceutical corporations have already reaped billions of dollars of profits on the swift development of vaccines. But what is so discerning is the very slow and ignored response on developing antidotes for people already infected.

When we look at the history of vaccines their development, distribution, and vaccination that have stopped the spread of man's most infectious diseases all have stood the test of time in eliminating their spread. In all likelihood the various Covid-19 vaccines will only postpone and not eliminate other mutations of Covid-19 from surfacing again.

The United States response when the first case of Covid-19 appeared was a dismal failure. The bungling, incompetent and woefully inadequate attempts by the Trump Administration to deal with this incoming crisis proved disastrous. This along with a congress who to this day can't seem to get their act together has made the United States have one of the worst records in responses to the global threats to man, nature and the environment.

Compounding the unlpeasantries of our existence the tinderbox in the Mid-East has already been ignited leaving the rest of the world desperately trying to find answers to why we all can't get along. It as as though the greed of a few continues to spill the blood of so many just to achieve their diabolical end. The violence we face now in all parts of the world has only exasperated the horrific suffering and anguish of millions the world over.

Adding to the misery of so many Americans we continue to have a government who can't and wont implement the reforms that are so needed to preserve our heritage and propel this nation into a much brighter, prosperous and secure nation for all Americans. To date our dominate two party political system has only deepened the divides of our nation. On one had the Republicans continue their delusional ideologies so much so that they are willing and more than capable of destroying our democratic process while ignoring the rule of law.

If we as a nation can't see what is happening in Washington that has spread like this Pandemic infecting the minds and actions of so many can this nation survive? Has our society succumbed to the tempestuous behavior patterns that have dominated the now Republican mindset? Something to really think about.

For sometime now the will of the majority has been lost in translation due to too many elected officials apparent apathy, lack of empathy and complete ignorance of what is actually occurring right under their nose. As a result the unpleasant world we face today has been made very unsafe by the actions and inactions of governments around the world.

If we look back in history we find the wounds of the Great War still festering never to have been healed. Since then these wounds have manifested into the climate of distrust, animosity, and hate that has seeped into cultures in countries around the world. If we fail to realize what is happening the crisis in the Mid-East and our failure to address the reforms that are needed in the United States this unpleasant world of ours will only grow cold and more unpleasant.

Without a doubt the seeds of mistrust, animosity, and hate have been thriving between cultures and nations all through-out history. After two world wars and countless internal and international conflicts humanity is still harboring an unquenchable thirst for domination over others. Whether it is the Republicans conquest toward political power or the continued reign of terror in the Mid-East all are reaching the point of no return.

Lessons learned from history are invaluable tools that will enable civilizations gaining the knowledge to thwart and dispel all who threaten the sanctity of life. A global resolve to eradicate terrorism of any form is paramount to the future of mankind. We must act now with total commitment by each nation to end once and for all the carnage that plagues all of humanity.
