So, let me get this straight, we as women have fought for our rights. We fought for rights as women because we have been pushed down by men since we were created. We fought for our right to be heard in the classroom, just to have our hands up and to be spoken.

Now if we have a boyfriend, we want to still be our own person. We fought for our rights to have birth control.

We fought for our rights to work. How about personal financing whether you are married or single. You fight for your right to have a credit card, to own personal property, to get your credit up to own a house, and you fight for your right to get a divorce if you choose. Then you fought for your right to have this after divorce.

Women have fought for their right to have a legal abortion.

Before women were allowed to have a legal abortion, they would find another way to have them, illegally. Why would we do this, unless as a women they just couldn't have the baby? They couldn't have the baby, mentally, or finanacially.

There are wonderful moms out there that had to choose to do an illegal abortion and they have horror stories. They had an abortion by a hanger, pills, saline solution, lying in blood, told they were sluts, wake up in excruciating pain, and having to get up like nothing happened.

Roe v. Wade gave us the freedom to have the legal abortions. Januaray 22, 1973 the US Supreme Court held women's right to have an abortion under the 14th amendment of the Constitution. It was a 7-2 decision that day.

Now Roe v. Wade has been overturned.

I am stunned. I cannot believe it. Honestly, I didn't think anything was going to happen. I am stunned it got overturned. As women, we have fought for a lot over the years. Now, we are fighting again as women and anti abortionist are fighting too.

Henry Wade alchetron.com

So in June 17, 2003, Roe, went to the Supreme Court asking to overturn this case with 1,000 signatures on an affidavit of women that didn't like their abortion. (I know Norma McCorvey aka "Jane Roe" came back as anti-abortionist.) I just want to point out, mostly none if barely any women that has had an abortion liked it. Of course, women do not like their abortion. It's an horrible experience to go through and just from what my research I have done. It is a procedure that needs to be done in a clinic by a professional with counseling.

Until now on Friday June 24, 2022, Roe v. Wade was overturned. What does that mean for us as women?

We have fought for our right for work.

We have fought for our right for banking account.

We have fought for our right to have a divorce.

We have fought for our right to have a education.

We have fought for our right to be in the legal system.

We have fought for our right to have birth control.

We fought for our own health care.

And we have fought for our right to have legal abortions.

We fought for our right to our own body.

With that right of legal abortions, it gives us our right to take care of our body. If there is a illegal abortion done on someone and it is contaminated, it could cause damage to the women's fertility system, her body, or organ's. Men do not have the same anatomy as women.

It doesn't matter how the pregnancy happened. All things happen whether it was planned or not. It was a mistake and if the women does not want the child, wants an abortion, she might look for an abortion still even if it's illegal.

What is the point of making abortions illegal?

What is the anti-abortion system trying to prove? The sex act is done and it doesn't stop it from happening again in the future..... so what it's illegal. Sex is still going to happen.

Birth control needs to still be available, but even so pregnancy still can happen. An unwanted pregnancy is still the problem. If a women is pregnant and she doesn't want the baby, she may still have an abortion.

Why risk an incomplete abortion, contaminated abortion, or depression afterwards that may end up as suicide.

Abortions need to be done in a clinic where they are done properly. The procedure is done by a doctor, and they talk first with a professional counselor.

Pregnancy Discriminate Act in 1978, Violence Against Women Act, Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, White House Council on Women and Girls, Women in the Supreme Court 1981, and Women have their own equality day..Women's Equality Day. Women should be allowed to have rights over their own body!
