Let’s Hope the Door Hits Elizabeth Warren on the Way Out

The fake Native American is persisting no more, and not a moment too soon.

One of the biggest panderers and condescending candidates we ever have seen is calling it quits after a disastrous Super Tuesday (Super Thursday if you are Joe Biden). She turned off so many people she couldn’t win her home state of Massachusetts. She came to the realization there was no hope of beating out Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders.

She was supposed to be the “lighter” version of socialism compared to Bernie Sanders but was unable to capture his momentum. There’s no moderation when it comes to the complete government takeover of your healthcare and other major industries to dedicated Leftists.

Warren was known for saying, “I have a plan for that.” The problem was she couldn’t explain how to pay for all her big-government pipe dreams. She wouldn’t acknowledge that taxes would be raised for the middle-class. Some of Warren’s other plans were free college, canceling student loan debt, and free childcare. What Democrat could possibly turn down all that free stuff?

Her agenda would have added $4.2 trillion in new spending per year. The government already spends $4.4 trillion while taking in $3.4 trillion. Her plan was going to blow up the debt and double federal spending. A candidate with these kinds of plans shouldn’t have had credibility in the first place, but she was par for the course for today’s Democratic Party. What happened to Democrats who had, for the most part, sensible policy like JFK and Bill Clinton?

There wasn’t a candidate in the field who sounded and acted more elitist than her. She was a law professor at Harvard and her style reflected that. It always seemed like she had an air of superiority when she spoke. She mocked people of faith who believe marriage is between a man and a woman at a town hall last October by saying, “And I’m going to say, ‘Well, then just marry one woman. I’m cool with that.’” Then she finished off her joke with, “Assuming you can find one.”

The worst pandering moment of her campaign came when she said her Secretary of Education would be “someone who has taught in public school” and be vetted by a “young trans person.” It’s comforting to know the people who she would have put in charge of selecting leaders who control massive parts of the government were children. They know best after all and are experts on everything with their grade school educations. This is the kind of idea you get when pleasing Social Justice Warriors is a top priority.

Elizabeth Warren wasn’t likable. Amy Klobuchar and Tulsi Gabbard never got described as off-putting, unlikeable, or elitist. Pete Buttigieg fought a perception of being an elite. Warren hit him hard for his wine cave fundraiser. He was a master of speaking in lofty platitudes while saying nothing substantive like President Obama. He had disdain for Christians who didn’t share his version of the faith. They both had the same effect on people.

A female president with policies that strengthen our position in the world, create an environment for a continued prosperous economy, and stay true to the Constitution would be great for America. Nikki Haley is already being touted as a front runner for the nomination in 2024 and could be an intriguing candidate.

Would the Left and media work to destroy Haley because she’s a strong conservative woman? It would be interesting if the Republican nominee was a woman in 2024. Would feminists and left-wingers still support her based on being a woman, or would ideology trump gender? If the point is to elect a woman, it shouldn’t matter. It would be great for young women to have a president to look up to, without big-government policies.

Warren’s campaign was doomed from the beginning. She was outed as not being a Native American after she claimed to be for years. Did that give her an advantage over people when she was trying to advance her career? With the current emphasis on diversity and inclusion, there’s a great chance it did help her. That doesn’t win over many middle-class voters in the Midwest. She lacked the ability to connect with the average person. She finally realized it’s time for her base to rally around Bernie Sanders, who is the unashamed Socialist in the race.
