Global Suicide: Humanity, Especially in U$, Is Unfit to Survive

Humanity is not going to make it. We could if we wanted to . . . buuuuttt . . . we’re not willing to lift our butts long enough to pull it off. Unrestrained greed, self-interest, & little that resembles logic are the main factors driving human animosity towards others, whether they be one’s brother, neighbor, or distant international foe. Putting the emphasis on our differences rather than on our commonalities & mutual needs is a primary driver for sending us over the edge into the chaotic void we are witnessing.

The stupendous rate of technological advances since the Middle Ages, especially in the past century, has certainly brought humanity closer together, but in so doing without reducing our gargantuan numbers & increasing complex global problems, it has made it possible, & probably inevitable, that someone somewhere will eventually flip so far out that his extent of power will take us all down with him. Putin, Trump, or any one of numerous other megalomaniacs armed with nukes or other critical power, such as burning down the Amazon, seem to be itching to do so.

I've been growing increasingly hopeless since Reagan undid what progress had been made in the U$$$$$ over the preceding decades in race relations, dealing with injustices & social & economic inequity, keeping the economy healthy & vibrant, & satisfying workers’ needs & safety requirements. Cowboy Reagan called Russia the “Evil Empire” but neglected to consider that he headed the Other Evil Empire which, in his ignorant hands, began to quickly dissolve. He fanned corporate greed for wealth & power with a poor understanding of “freedom”. I say “Russia”, although officially it was “The Soviet Union”, but that was just a euphemism to mask its oppressive occupation of Eastern Europe & Central Asia. The 3rd Evil Empire, China, was just hatching since Nixon had kicked in the door.

Racism in the U$, kicked back into gear by Reagan, was unleashed by Trump & is so out of control that much of the coming chaos & violence will be a racial civil war. The differences in the U$$$$$$$$$ are on so many issues & levels that the inevitable dissolution of civil society will be so confusing that no one will know whose side they are on or whom they can trust. Armed to the teeth beyond belief, they will each “do their own thing” until someone else with a bigger arsenal or a quicker draw will shut them up—permanently. Yes, this will be wilder than anything that happened in that once Wild West.

The So-called “Leaders” of the Free World

Most of the world is ruled by fascist dictators, but the U$$$$$ will not be ruled by anyone. It is too individualistic to find common bonds. It will be mob mayhem. The greed & divisiveness is so deep & widespread that there is no stopping it now.

I am glad I got out decades ago. Living in Russia's shadow in Eastern Europe seems oddly safer, but the U$ suicidal civil war will generate such immense chaos, it will reverberate around the globe.

The sycophantic ass-kissers, pretending to be as stupid as Trump in order to curry his favor & maintain the support of his KKK (Klueless Kristian Kluxxers), are responsible for agitating & increasing the chaos to what is a practically unstoppable level. I feel it is unsalvageable because when so many people vote for & nearly elect a psychopathic buffoon like Trumpty Dumbty twice, it shows that the masses are unmitigated morons & have further proven this by not being able to lock him away after decades of crimes, including a national coup.

The only way the coming civil chaos can be avoided is by getting Trump's ass along with all the other seditionists’ behinds hauled off to prison before the elections. The inability to do this is what will end the increasingly failing experiment in democracy, a system incapable of solving anything because its structure is competitive, the most toxic interpersonal element one can introduce into any human relationship.

Capitalism

Capitalism is simply a parasitic system devised by the rich so they can become even more rich & powerful. “Trickle down” simply means “piss on them”; there is nothing whatsoever in it for anyone but the wealthy who, having more of everything than they need, make a game of making as much money as they can. They call it “playing in the stock market” when in reality they are playing with peoples’ lives.

It is the most horrid & unjust system ever devised which gives no benefit to those without the wealth to participate in the “game”. Workers are merely paid slaves who either participate or starve. There is no freedom in that. Actual slaves get at least minimal food, clothing, & shelter, but capitalism guarantees starvation, homelessness, hypothermia, & death if there is no intervention of a good Samaritan or other social service, whether extended family, a charitable organization, or the government which fails repeatedly.

Without labor unions, which have socialism as their goal, whether stated or not, are the only means of acquiring any just compensation or anything approximating equity. It used to be more balanced decades ago when managers got salaries several times greater than the workers, but now the ratio of management to worker salaries is several hundred times what it used to be, so out of proportion to anything even remotely rational.

The lust for wealth & power is so overwhelming it has clouded the judgement of anyone who sees the possibility of somehow, someday, being one of “them”. It is such a reprehensible morally depraved disease that I could not live in its midst & tried to escape, once to rural Alaska, then to Eastern Europe, where I thought different values might prevail. It is, however, a global epidemic of greed.

Idiocracy, Not Democracy

The voting (m)asses, ignorant beyond belief, repeatedly vote against their own interests. When a current situation becomes unbearable, people do anything to escape it with no thought of consequences. When an outsider psycho imbecile like Trump comes along calling Washington a “swamp”, the morons love it, ignore the fact that he is merely the head of a failing New York Mafia family, & vote for the buffoon. (By the way, Washington has not been a swamp. Swamps are places of rejuvenation for fish & fowl; Washington is a sewer where rats come to feed off the rest in collaboration with their Wall Street parasitic goons.)

Democracy, unless it is done with proportional voting, is a 2-party system which forestalls the rise of 3rd parties, the true minorities. Collaborative mergers of overlapping interests have become impossible in the current system in the U$ where the wall dividing the sides is impervious to dialogue & negotiation. Fairly recently in Lithuania, in contrast, a coalition of greens & rural folks, usually diametrically opposed liberals & conservatives, was victorious despite their differences.

Republican states feverishly redoing voting districts to disenfranchise majority black districts from representation can be salvaged by proportional voting. This would allow even tiny minorities to get a voice & become part of a coalition rather than being left totally voiceless, a situation in which resentment & hostilities build until they explode into protest &/or riot. Voiceless individuals either withdraw into alcohol, drugs, or suicides or express themselves loudly in less acceptable unpredictable ways like terroristic bombings or mass shootings.

The most creative protest ever devised, in my opinion, was by flying huge loaded passenger planes into the world’s tallest buildings. Even then, the dimbulbs in the government & the media did not get the message, which is to listen up, hear them out, give them a voice, & find out how the less privileged Have-nots & the less gullible parts of the world are being used, abused, & ripped off by the Haves.

American Exceptionalism: The American Way

This is where the U$$$$$$ stands now, on the brink of more chaos than even Russia saw after the end of the 1st World War when they took down the czar & installed psychopaths, whose laudable vision of equality was superseded by their brutality & unconscionable desire to rule & amass fortunes.

The U$$$$$ will end differently, however. Instead of a sprawling Soviet Empire that outdid even the Russian Empire, it will go down in flames of secessions of even tiny communities convinced that they can stand on their own. Even regional alliances will be improbable with incessant internal bickering & lust for power. Only rare states will survive as everyone grasps what they can. It’s called the American Way—doing one’s own thing with no regard for how it affects others, oneself, or the environment in the long run. As a result, there will be no long run. The supply of guns will assure that.

U$$$$ society is up against the back wall with its enemy being themselves. Outside forces need not apply; the U$$$$ is capable of taking itself down without help.

One’s power & the value of one’s voice or vote should be based on intellectual qualities & emotional stability, but nowhere is anyone logically evaluated in this way, not even those running for the highest offices that can set us off a nuclear holocaust on the egotistical whim of one psycho.
