According to ARY News, the Pakistani embassy in Ukraine has issued information about the evacuation of Pakistanis, including students, who are trapped in the war-torn country.

The embassy claimed in a statement that the students were offered lodging and transportation in Ternopil, as well as bringing up the subject of Pakistanis being stranded at the border.

Dr. Noel I Khokhar, Pakistan's ambassador, announced that 125 Pakistanis had been evacuated from Ukraine and that 376 Pakistanis had crossed the Ukraine-Poland border.

"Four Pakistanis crossed the Ukraine-Romania border, while nine others entered Hungary." Three students have arrived from different locations at the Lviv facilitation desk, while 30 more are on their way to Lviv by train. Seven Pakistani students have arrived in Ternopil, according to the envoy.

Dr. Khokhar also spoke with Poland's deputy foreign minister about the trapped Pakistanis along the border.

According to the embassy, 84 Pakistanis crossed the Ukrainian border into Poland, and 137 Pakistanis have been evacuated thus far.

The embassy has designated focal points in Ternopil, Kyiv, and Lviv to aid stranded Pakistanis. The trapped Pakistanis should call the Pakistani embassy in Ternopil at 0038063698164 or 380681734727.

According to the Pakistan Embassy in Ukraine, Ambassador Dr Noel Khokhar met with Ukraine's deputy interior minister on Sunday to discuss the assistance of Pakistani nationals' departure from the war-torn country.

The embassy said in a statement that it has requested a meeting with the commander of crossing posts for the Ukraine-Poland border to discuss the problem of Pakistanis detained on the Ukrainian side of the border awaiting evacuation.

The embassy has issued updates on their evacuation attempts as the Russia-Ukraine crisis has escalated. So far, 125 Pakistani individuals have been successfully evacuated, with 376 having arrived at the Ukraine-Poland border, four at the Ukraine-Romania border, and nine at the Ukraine-Hungary border, according to the organisation.

According to the statement, the Pakistan mission has been providing housing and transportation to students in Ternopil, particularly from Lviv to the border crossings.

According to the embassy, a night curfew has been enforced in Kharkiv, Lviv, and Ternopil, while Kyiv, the capital, is under a 24-hour curfew.

The embassy warned that "there is no secure area in Ukraine" because to the escalating combat, and the Ternopil district government issued a warning to people on Saturday to turn off lights.

The embassy said that "the bulk of students from Kharkiv have already arrived in Lviv and have headed for the Poland border," while towns in Western Ukraine formerly thought to be safe, such as Lviv and Ternopil, are seeing more contacts.

Pakistanis are also being evacuated from Ternopil and Lviv to Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and Romania, as the embassy coordinates with the Pakistan embassies in those cities.

According to information given by the embassy, the Lviv Facilitation Desk has welcomed 35 students from Kharkiv and three students from other locations.

Thirty Kharkiv students are presently their route to Lviv via train, which is expected to arrive later this afternoon, while seven students have arrived in Ternopil.

The Pakistan Embassy in Ukraine reaffirmed its commitment to make every effort to secure the safe departure of Pakistani citizens.

"Despite the fact that the Ukrainian government is dysfunctional, the embassy is making every effort to aid the evacuation of Pakistanis from Ukraine," it continued.

The first PIA evacuation flight takes off.

Two Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) planes will fly to Poland on Sunday (today) to rescue Pakistanis stuck in Ukraine due to the ongoing conflict, a PIA spokeswoman said on Saturday.

According to PIA spokesperson Abdullah Hafeez, the airline has devised a flight plan to evacuate Pakistani people. "Preparations have been made to send two flights from Pakistan to Poland on Sunday," he added, adding that the jets' departure was contingent on the arrival of Pakistani people in Poland.
