Kenya's President William Ruto flew into the United States on a private chartered jet that cost Kenyans 10 million shillings. He was able to gain over 1 billion USD from the American government, plus military equipment. Kenya walked away with 15 helicoppers and 150 armoured vehicles.

William Ruto the president of Kenya, who was elected into office with a little over 7 million votes. There were an estimate of 53 million Kenyans in living in Kenya at the time of his election. Which many might have heard that there were several cost of living protests, in which several Kenyans lost their lives.

Here are some more numbers about issues in Kenya;

- From 29 July to 15 September 2023, ACLED records 125 political violence events and over 175 reported fatalities in Kenya. Political violence centered in Nairobi county, where at least 13 incidents of mob violence were recorded. Nairobi also witnessed the highest number of demonstration events in the country.

- Lamu county had the highest number of reported fatalities, with nearly 95 recorded during the reporting period as al-Shabaab activity intensified in August and September, with militants targeting both civilians and security forces. Garissa county followed, with at least 16 reported fatalities. In Garissa, attacks by suspected ethnic militias accounted for the majority of reported fatalities.

- The most common event type was protests, with 85 recorded events, followed by riots, with 71 events. ACLED records 78 incidents of civilian targeting during the reporting period. Rioters were involved in nearly half of these incidents.

Oddly now the US and the United Nations no longer seems to care about the human rights violations in Kenya by the hands of the Kenyan police. William Ruto now must appear as the poster boy of Africa as he eats up the attention that Biden gives him.

US Donates $1.3M in Military Equipment to Kenya

The US government has donated $1.3 million worth of military equipment to the Kenya Defence Forces.

Delivered by US Africa Command (AFRICOM), the donation includes 6,730 pieces of body armor, ballistic helmets to protect soldiers from small arms fire, and ballistic plates to withstand heavy ammunition.

According to the US Embassy in Nairobi, the equipment will enhance the country’s counterterrorism and security efforts.

They will also help ensure the effectiveness of personnel in conducting peacekeeping missions, AFRICOM said.

Prior to the delivery, Kenya and the US signed a five-year defense cooperation deal, which underscores Washington’s role in assisting Nairobi with its fight against armed Islamist groups.

The American military is planning something huge in Africa and it's nothing good either. The so-called African Lion project which has recently been training in Liberia, Senegal and Ghana are planning something dangerous.

The newly elected Bassirou Diomaye Faye is trying to come off as if he's down with the military leaders of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger but he isn't so far he seems just like William Ruto and Akufo-Addo of Kenya and Ghana.

Below is from an article written by someone who clearly doesn't read the news:

Bassirou Diomaye Faye's rhetoric has much in common with junta leaders in other parts of the Sahel. In Senegal, February and March brought tension as then-President Macky Sall, facing a term limit, postponed scheduled elections and seemed poised to remain in power past the expiration of his mandate.

Many Kenyans, Hatians and other Africans are very unhappy with William Ruto signing up to do the dirty work for America. When other countries refused to go into Haiti for the US, Kenya decided to take on this mission out of pure greed.

Biden: What’s happening in Gaza ‘is not genocide’

The president emphasized his backing of Israel, aiming to quell frustrations he’d conditioned aid.

President Joe Biden on Monday sought to reassure Jewish voters that he stands firmly with Israel, calling for the full defeat of Hamas and denouncing the International Criminal Court’s assertion that Israel’s leaders are guilty of war crimes for their campaign in Gaza.

“What’s happening is not genocide. We reject that,” Biden said during a speech in the Rose Garden.

Vowing to continue to work “around the clock” to free the remaining Israeli hostages held by Hamas, the president avoided any past criticisms of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to launch a larger-scale invasion of Rafah, emphasizing instead his continued backing of Israel.

“I will always ensure Israel has everything it needs to defend itself against Hamas and all their enemies,” said Biden, who also noted his administration’s approval of humanitarian aid for innocent Palestinians. “We stand with Israel to take out [Hamas leader Yahya] Sinwar and the rest of the butchers of Hamas.

I worry about peace in Africa with the United States trying to win over African leaders. There will be more war and terrorism as long as the US is involved.
