Life is good for Mr. Torpedo. He just got married to his high school sweetheart, made a few millions investing in the house market, and has a business plan in development. Mr. Torpedo has no worries and is confident that 2008 will be an even bigger year him and for the house market.

It is summer of 2007. Mr. Torpedo is in Milan with his wife enjoying delicious pasta from a prestigious restaurant near the center of the city. He sees a boy and calls him over. He gives him 10 euros and and asks the boy for a pack of cigarettes. The boy does what he is asked and goes to find a store that sells packs of cigarettes.

The boy returns with the cigarettes and gives it to Mr. Torpedo. The boy is rewarded with 5,000 euros and a hug from Mr. Torpedo. The boy couldn't believe it. He immediately thanks Mr. Torpedo and leaves home to tell his family about it.

Years later, Mr. Torpedo found out the money was well spent in food and in house security. The boys family was poor and in need of money.

When dinner was over Mr. Torpedo decides to go back to his hotel room by himself. His wife decides to go watch an opera show because the night was young and she wanted to have some fun. Mr. Torpedo didn't. He requests an Uber and goes back to the hotel.

Inside the apartment, he remembers he has a pack of cigarettes. He goes to the balcony and decides to smoke one. A few seconds in, Mr. Torpedo starts hallucinating.

He sees the moon turning into shapes and at one point it turns into a woman and it starts dancing. He wasn't scared or afraid. Rather, the felt warm and calm the whole time he was hallucinating. 10 minutes in of watching the moon shape-shift, he sees a flying spaceship near his balcony and a beam of light appears at the bottom of it. It pointed at him and Mr. Torpedo started floating towards it.

He was getting scared at this point because he wasn't sure wether or not it was real.

The beam of light pulls him in all the way and drops Mr. Torpedo inside the flying spaceship. He wonders around but he couldn't see anything. It all looked foggy and there was no walls or corners. Just empty foggy space. Some time after, he hears a voice in his mind and directs him where to go. Mr. Torpedo listens and goes towards where he is being directed.

He walks around for a few feet and sees a figure about 10ft away from him. The voice tells him to stop moving and Mr. Torpedo's body freezes without him trying.

The figure tells him that he has recently won a contest. The figure explained that every 100 years, 1 Earth citizen is chosen at random to promote awareness about the human race to the rest of the universe. They do this so that other intelligent beings treat the human race with respect and not with disgust.

Mr. Torpedo couldn't believe it and asks, "so what do I win?".

The figure replies, "You get one wish".

Mr. Torpedo responds, "okay, I want to be the richest man in the world".

The figure sighs and replies, "They all do...wish granted!".

Mr. Torpedo is then sent back to the balcony and is no longer hallucinating. He doesn't understand what just happened. Was it real? Or was it all in his head?

Six months later the 2008 recession starts. The whole year Mr. Torpedo sees his wealth drop from 400 million to 100 million in a matter of days. His company crashed and lost an additional 90 million. He loses his house and all properties. At rock bottom, Mr. Torpedo had about 10,000 dollars in his bank account and no wife. Turns out, she was in it for the money. He just never saw it.

With depression crippling him and with no motivation to continue, he decides to move to Tokyo, Japan.

While in Japan, he starts getting these dreams of code. He doesn't know what they are but starts to write them down. As time went by he realizes he had something big in his hands. He went to a nearby university and presented his notes to the software engineer staff. They concluded that it was some sort of currency code but were mainly not interested. Mr. Torpedo decides to learn how to code so that he can code his dream.

In just 1 year he codes Bitcoin into a reality. In January 2009, he shares his creation with the world and just waits.

A few days after he finishes creating bitcoin, around January 15, 2009, he is walking around the city and then wonders about that incident he had with the pack of cigarettes. As soon as he thought about it, time froze and the ghastly figured appeared again in front of him and tells him that bitcoin is his reward. Bitcoin is a Martian invention and that Mr. Torpedo has been granted total access to it. The figure also tells him to stuck up on Bitcoin because it's gonna revolutionize Earth and it will be worth at least 1 million dollars in Mr. Torpedo's life time.

The figure leaves and Mr. Torpedo quickly goes home. He buys 2 million bitcoins and keeps it safe.

The year is now 2021 and Mr. Torpedo hasn't look at it for many years because he kind of gave up on it. He opens Coinbase and sees that the coin has exploded in price. At 50,000 per bitcoin, Mr. Torpedo now has a net worth of over 100 billion dollars. He has now become the richest man in the world. And by far...
