Easy And Quick Outfits To look Put Together

Everyone has those dull days when you feel anything but put together, your to-do list is overflowing, you’ve slept through your alarm and you are running late. As if that isn’t enough this is also when you run into the people you wouldn’t want seeing you looking like a hot mess. Coco Chanel once said dress shabbily and they will remember the dress, dress impeccably and they will remember the woman.

Whatever the reason for this predicament, the good news is you don’t have to look as messy as you feel .Here are five easy outfit ideas to help you look put together when you don’t feel like you are;

An All-Black Outfit

An all-black outfit.

Black is elegant, flattering appropriate for a formal or casual occasion and has the effect of looking put together. With an all-black outfit you don’t run the risk of wearing clashing colours, an all-black outfit is cohesive so on the days that you don’t have the time to think up colour coordination for an outfit, an all-black ensemble is a safe bet. Try well fitting black pair of pants a black top and black blazer. With an all-black look you get a lot of freedom when it comes to the accessories to complement the look, you can go with a black purse or add a pop of colour to the look with your shoe choice or purse red, green, purple whatever colour here you would like.

This look is effortless while giving the impression that you put thought and intent into how you’re dressed.

A Wrap Dress

A Wrap Dress.

Made famous by German fashion Designer Diane Von Furstenberg, a wrap dress is a wardrobe essential every woman should own as it is flattering for all body types and can be worn across all ages. This timeless garment is easy to wear as it is a one-piece look, its versatile can be worn in the day time or night. The wrap dress is appropriate for every event you could think of from weddings to the office; you can choose to dress it up or down depending on the accessories.

Pair a floral wrap dress with white sneakers and a tote bag to run your errands. Dress up a wrap dress with a pair of stilettos and understated jewellery for a date and you’re good to go. It is no wonder that this dress has become a favorite of Princess Kate Middleton. Diane Von Furstenberg was definitely onto something when she founded her brand based off this look.

A Bold Lipstick

A Bold Lipstick

A bold lipstick like the classic red lipstick is perfect for when your mood needs a little pick me up. It is also a fashion secret spilled by Rihanna that she goes with a bold lipstick when she wants to draw attention away from something else. Speaking about her favorite beauty product she told Elle magazine in a feature for its 2014 September issue “Lipstick. It draws attention away from any flaws. When someone is wearing lipstick, you just assume they’re wearing a full face of makeup. And guys are stupid-they won’t notice when you’re not.” Ha.

So if your hangover or you’ve pulled an all-nighter and have dark circles under your eyes, pick up some of that bold colored lipstick. Even when you’re outfit is more understated a bold lipstick is a great way to take things up a notch.

A Monochromatic Outfit

A Monochromatic Ensemble.

When in doubt wear an entire outfit in the same color in varying shade. This trendy look is loved for its cohesive effect. So instead of spending several minutes while you’re running late trying on different looks in vain struggling to find pieces that will appear harmonious together, save time by picking out pieces of the same colour in varying shades.

A Jumpsuit

A jumpsuit.

Just like a wrap dress this look is convenient as it is a one-piece garment. A jumpsuit is elegant and requires minimal accessories. This is just what you need when you’re not up to putting together an elaborate look. A floral jumpsuit paired with a wedged heel is perfect for summer, day outdoors, brunch or a causal date. For a more formal setting, wear a jumpsuit in solid colours such as blue or black and accessorize with minimal jewellery such as a gold or silver necklace and bracelet a purse and a pair of pumps.

Looking put-together does not necessarily mean dressing to the nines every time you step out. What really matters is that you present yourself in a way that makes you feel like you are putting your best foot forward as you get ready to face your day.
