This cocktail reminds me of an agua fresca but with a little pow. A lot of pow if you choose to double the tequila measurement.

Watermelon Wowgarita

Why drink regular lemonade when you can have lemonade with a little fun added?

Strawberry Basil Boom

2 oz vodka

4-5 fresh strawberries

4-5 fresh basil leaves

1 oz simple syrup

1 oz fresh lemon juice

Soda water

Strawberry (for garnish)

Ice cubes

Muddle the strawberries, basil leaves, simple syrup, and lemon juice in a glass.

Add vodka and ice cubes, then stir well.

Top it off with soda water.

Garnish with a strawberry and a sprig of mint.

While this recipe calls for a shaken margarita, it can also be made in a blender with ice for a frozen version to heighten the chill factor.

Mighty Mango Margarita

1 oz fresh lime juice

1 oz mango puree

1/2 oz agave syrup

Tajin seasoning (for rimming)
