Are you tired of stressing at the liquor store to find the best option for your dinner date each weekend? This is the ultimate list of wines that will pair the best with your evening meal. Give these date night wines a try, and eliminate your time in the liquor store aisles, when you can spend more time with your significant other.

Because even after the first 10 dates, each one needs to be perfect in its own way. What better way to do this than with the best bottles of red or white? Choose your favorite among the list, and you're guaranteed to have your next staple dinner date companion.

White Bordeaux

White Bordeaux is one of the most intimate date night wines that include options like the Muscadelle and the Sauvignon Blanc Semillon. Perfect for pairing with angel hair pasta, sushi, avocado, lobster, or crab, there are so many options for a dinner date that you can have this along with.

However, this doesn't mean that the wine doesn't have strong flavors. With notes of lemon, citrus, grapefruit, and honey, this is a fruity wine that won't break the bank.

Moscato d’Asti

As another sweet option for one of the best date night wines, Moscato d'Asti is made with Muscat Blanc and comes from Italy. There are many options of Moscato d'Asti like the Nivole, Saracco, or Castello del Poggio Moscato, which are all sparkling wine options.

Primarily made from white grapes, this fizzy wine has a lower alcohol level, and is light and citrusy, with hints of cinnamon and mint.

Pinot Blanc

As a White Pinot Noir wine, Pinot Blanc is tart with a light body and comes from Alsace. With hints of ginger, almond, and honey, the acidity is a medium level and has a rich flavor.

Plus, it would work well with a dinner date with a crab salad, creamy soup, a dish with mushrooms, or some pork chops. With options like these, you can go for a light meal and a delicious wine accent.

Nebbiolo

As one of the most flowery wines, the Nebbiolo is one of the best date night wines, simply due to its rose scents. Besides the scent, the taste is not as strong as the sweet aroma and has subtle hints of cherry, raspberry, and rose.

Pair this one with beef tenderloin, steak, turkey, sausage, rice, or butternut squash for a perfect date night in or out. A Barolo Nebbiolo can get up to $50, but a cheaper option would be Langhe Nebbiolo.

Zinfandel

A Zinfandel wine can be paired with foods ranging from Manchego cheese to Italian to barbecue. With flavors of plum, violet, black pepper, meat, and tobacco, this is definitely a full-bodied red.

Coming from both France and Australia, the Zinfandel is created mainly for a meaty taste, that works great with most meat dishes.

Oregon Pinot Noir

Oregon Pinot Noir is one of the best date night wines for those of you who have a date that is vegetarian, or are meat-free yourself. As one of the best pairings to some roasted veggies, the Oregon Pinot Noir is a light-bodied red wine that comes from Oregon, clearly. With earthy tones and hints of cranberries, you can't go wrong with an option like this for a special night with your favorite person.

Albariño

Albariño is one of the best date night wines because of its versatility with food pairings. Choose between plates based with mint, lime, lemon, carrot, avocado, cauliflower, cabbage, or onion, or simply chose a seafood dish like crab, shrimp, scallops, sea bass, or even octopus.

As a light-bodied wine with high quality, the white wine comes from either Portugal or Spane and has high acidity and citrusy flavors. Though it's a white wine, don't be afraid of keeping it at room temperature, it will taste just as fresh.

Cremant de Bordeaux

Another option for an intimate dinner date, the Cremant de Bordeaux will do great on a table that is lit solely by candle light. As a sparkling white wine, it is often compared to having a champagne taste, but for a much lower price. Coming in either rosé or white options, this is one the best date night wines to pair with a fruity dessert plate.

Brut Nature Champagne

One of the best sparkling options for date night wines, the Brut Nature is a sweet wine that is made with grape must and sugar to reduce the tart taste that a sparkling wine might typically have. If you're looking for a sweet option, this is a great choice, and will go well with most any dessert.

Petit Verdot

We couldn't complete our list of the date night wines without including the Petit Verdot red wine. With a full body and a bold fruity flavor, this wine has hints of black cherry, blueberry, blackberry, plum, and sometimes vanilla.

As a dry and somewhat smokey option, this is a great wine to pair with lamb chops, roasted pork, barbecue pork, or ribs. Plus, there are scents of lilac, lavender, and violet which we're sure your date will love.
