Pop culture and drinks are inextricably linked, and that's been true for ages. To a point, it almost seems like Hollywood enjoys putting drinks in movies as a way to give people something to tie to their favorite films and shows.

We all know that James Bond loves his martinis "shaken, not stirred." We know that Father Jack from the Father Ted television series drinks anything that's not water. We know that The Dude from The Big Lebowski enjoyed White Russians.

What's awesome about this is that you can enjoy a slice of your favorite movie in reality. Making iconic movie cocktails isn't as hard as you think. Here are some you might already be drinking!

The Big Lebowski is often considered to be one of the best college movies ever made. Everyone who has ever watched it cracked up at the jokes, got attached to the characters, and enjoyed the happy-go-lucky plot line.

Along with making a ton of jokes that college kids still reference today, it also gave us one of the most iconic movie cocktails out there: the White Russian. This cocktail is milky, sweet, and surprisingly refreshing. You'll love it.

Casablancaremains one of the most iconic movies ever made, and is still hailed as one of the greatest movies ever made. One of the most widely-recognized scenes in Hollywood history, German soldiers start ordering rounds of French 75s.

Along with being a fairly iconic drink, the French 75 is also one of the oldest cocktails in history. If you love champagne and a little undercurrent of liquor, you're going to love this sip of film history!

Marilyn Monroe always found a way to charm the many hearts who saw her in her smash hit film, Some Like It Hot. When she ordered a Manhattan cocktail, the world listened, and it quickly became one of the most iconic movie cocktails of the era.

Since Some Like It Hot, Manhattan cocktails have been featured in dozens of movies. We can see why; it's a seriously classy drink that just oozes sophistication.

Though there are a lot of cocktails that are associated with the James Bond movie franchise, it's really hard to ignore how popular Vodka Martinis have become thanks to Sean Connery's rendition of James Bond.

Go ahead, order a Vodka Martini. Use that thick Irish brogue you pretend to have. Oh, and make sure it's "shaken, not stirred" in the same way it was in James Bond.

A Clockwork Orange really killed it when they showed Alex's Kubrick stare in that bar, didn't it? It made you want to have some of that Moloko Plus or visit a real-life Korova Milk Bar, right?

Admittedly, you can't actually make the book version of this cocktail because the hallucinogenic ingredients that were named in the book don't exist in real life. However, movie fans have created a real version of this treat.

Would you really want to try this, though?

In the 1990s, comedies were all about feel-good vibes—and nothing quite hit the spot like Groundhog Day. This movie was about a guy who was stuck in a time loop, with hilarity ensuing around every corner.

When Bill Murray was on a date with the leading lady, he orders a Sweet Vermouth with a twist. This is literally a glass of vermouth, with ice, and a lemon twist. Are you reminded of Rome yet?

If you're a fan of Don the Beachcomber, then you probably have already tried a Singapore Sling. If not, you're missing out on one of the most tiki-approved drinks to find its way among lists of the most iconic movie cocktails in history.

This deliciously strong cocktail was famously served up to Hunter S. Thompson in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Retro? Yes. And it will fuck you up, because really, look at who ordered it.

The Blues Brothers sure do know how to drink—and mingle with famous jazz musicians, too! Though some might not consider this to be one of the most iconic movie cocktails out there, it actually did get a resurgence of popularity due to the release of The Blues Brothers movie.

This drink is creamy, orangey, and has a nice kick of rum in it. Basically, it tastes like an Orange Dreamsicle. Very 90s, indeed!

The TV show Sex And The City spawned a huge amount of things due to its breakout popularity. It was the television show that sparked a designer cupcake craze in the mid-2000s. It was also the show that helped bring mixed drink culture to women.

On the show, the ladies loved to drink Cosmopolitans while they chatted about Mr. Big. When the first and second Sex And The City movies appeared in 2008, the Cosmopolitan joined the ranks of movie cocktails we all adored.

Finally, let's wrap up this list of iconic movie cocktails with a true classic film: Breakfast at Tiffany's. This critically acclaimed film featured a young Audrey Hepburn and some of the most elegant scenes ever found in a classic movie.

In this movie, characters are seen drinking down a delicious cocktail called a Mississippi Punch. Incidentally, it packs a way more powerful punch than you'd ever think Audrey could handle!
