The Two Princes

Have you been looking for a wholesome, sweet, and adorable podcast to listen to lately? Me too and I am happy to inform you that I found one. The Two Princes is an original fictional podcast full of fun, mystery, suspense, and love. The characters being LGBTQIA+ is just an amazing added bonus. It isn't sexual or rated R which, for me, just makes it the best wholesome podcast to listen to right now.

I give this podcast a 5 star rating! It is cheesy, but well written. It is adult and kid friendly. The characters are funny and above all, it makes me smile as I listen, which I think is really important now-a-days.

It has three seasons. All of them are funny, sweet, and easy to follow. It only took me about a week to finish it all, but that is because I binged it. I think we are all in need of something sweet and fun, perhaps a break from all the news and true crime. This podcast is the definition of self-care. You have no worries at all and you can laugh and relax as you fold laundry or do work.

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!

In this podcast, we meet Prince Rupert and Prince Amir. They are fated to fight each other to the death by a prophecy. The prophecy said that the two men were to meet to combine the two kingdoms into one. A magical forest appeared during the war of the West and East Kingdoms, then it started to terrorize the towns.

Prince Amir was aware of the prophecy. He was prepared to fight the other Prince and bring him down. Prince Rupert, on the other hand, was not aware. His mother, the queen, hid it from him. As the time for the prophecy to began, both men ended up in the magical forest.

Prince Rupert lied for his life, claiming to be a thief and a peasant. Prince Amir believed him and they both go into the forest. In typical cheesy romance fashion, the two men fall in love. Prince Rupurt began to feel guilty for his lies, and came clean. Prince Amir was heartbroken and angry. They split up, only for the magical forest to bring them back together by force.

They are told they must fight to the death. Both princes knew that if they fought, Amir would win. They kissed each other goodbye before Prince Rupert allowed Prince Amir to strike the killing blow, but something changed.

They had accidentally found a loophole in the prophecy. They had to combine the two kingdoms, but the prophecy never said anything about them having to kill each other. They could combine the kingdoms in many ways, including falling in love and getting married. Everyone had just assumed they had to fight to the death.

It's the happy ending we truly needed, but that was only the first season. We get two more seasons of cheesy shenanigans. Those shenanigans include memory loss, a musical, and a handsome mystery prince from a far away kingdom.

I am not usually the type to enjoy any kind of musical, but I don't recommend skipping the final season. It's still interesting and has a great message to it, but it is still a musical.

You don't need to worry about cheating or actual heartbreak. This podcast is truly a feel-good, happy experience. So if that is something you are in the mood for I highly recommend it. You can find this podcast on Spotify and many other platforms. Go enjoy your cheesy LGBTQIA podcast today!

Oh and PS: There are lesbians and bisexual people in there too, which always brightens my day.
