CBD or cannabidiol is the non-intoxicating substance that comes from the cannabis plant. It provides many health benefits for the body and many people are using it already. Unlike the other chemical found in the cannabis plant which is called THC or the tetrahydrocannabinol, it will not give you the feeling of "high" which usually gets experienced by people who are into smoking marijuana. The chemicals are being separated by the manufacturers of CBD oil to ensure that they will only get the cannabidiol which has the medical benefits.

Effects of CBD

There are a lot of good effects CBD can do for the body. The health benefits it can provide seems to also be endless. Most of the conditions are still for further studies. Here are some of the health benefits of CBD oil.

1. Treatment for Epilepsy

This is the first scientifically proven treatment when it comes to the use of CBD oil. Some studies show that CBD can reduce seizures or even stopping them. The first FDA approved medicine that contains CBD is called Epidiolex. If childhood epilepsy can be treated by the use of CBD oil, they will not have to worry about experiencing seizures anymore as they grow older.

2. Relieves Anxiety

CBD is known to have a relaxing effect and a good remedy for people who suffer from anxiety. It can provide a certain feeling of calmness that is why it is being advised for people who are having issues with managing their anxiety levels. A lot of people are suffering from anxiety nowadays because of the stress that they are going through with their lives every day. So it's best to start getting treatment before it gets worse.

3. Sleeping Disorder

Because of the calming effect of CBD oil, it is advised to use it as a treatment for insomnia and other sleeping disorders. It can calm your mind as well as your body so that you can achieve a good night's sleep. Stress is the culprit when it comes to sleeping disorders such as insomnia. By reducing the anxiety and stress a person may be feeling, they will less likely to have issues with getting a night of quality sleep.

4. Depression

In some studies, CBD has a good effect when it comes to depression. Since it has an anti-depressant effect, it's best for people who are easily feeling depressed with their day to day lives. Clinically depressed people may need to seek medical advice first before taking CBD oil. If they are already taking medication for their depression, it might not have a good reaction if you take them simultaneously with anti-depressant drugs.

5. Inflammatory Pain

CBD has an anti-inflammatory effect therefore, it will also help with the pain caused by it. This can help reduce the pain by impacting the endocannabinoid receptors from the nervous system.

6. Nerve Related Pain

CBD can help the body to produce endocannabinoids to relieve pain. It can reduce sciatic nerve pain and also helps with the inflammation.

7. Acne

Acne is caused by the overreaction of your sebaceous gland which causes your skin to break out. CBD oil is known to regulate the sebaceous gland so it can control and avoid acne from emerging.

CBD Dosage

Since the good effects of CBD had already been established, it's time to know about the dosage. How much should you take every day to get the benefits of CBD oil for your health? Whatever condition that you are trying to treat with CBD oil, you need to have the right amount of dosage to make it work for you. Unfortunately, CBD oil is not yet being regulated by FDA so there is no official recommended dosage.

According to some research, most human studies use dosages around 20 to 1,500 mg per day. But since it doesn't work the same way for everyone, you will need to know what will be the right amount for you. The amount of CBD oil depends on your weight, the condition you are treating, your body chemistry, and the concentration of the CBD product that you are planning to take.

If you are using a CDB oil, you will get to have a dropper for that. The packaging will specify the dosage of every drop. So you can use it as a basis of the dosage you may need. Mostly, the manufacturer will suggest you start with just one drop and let your body adapt to CBD first. The recommended dosage of the condition will also be provided from the product information.

Is CBD Legal ?

Most of the countries still haven't approved the legality of CBD to use for medical purposes. Cannabis medical health benefits have been proven but it seems that some countries are not yet willing to accept the fact that it can treat certain conditions. The good thing is in the US, it has been legalized but with the condition that the huile CBD should not contain THC. In the 2018 Farm Bill, it has been legalized in all 50 states in the US so you can take advantage of it if you happen to live there.

Countries Where CBD is Legal

Although some conditions are depending on the country, there are a lot of countries now who can already benefit from the effects of CBD oil. As long as it doesn't contain from 0.2%-0.3% of THC, it should be legal. The countries who legalized the use of CBD oil are the following. Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Russia, and Slovakia.

Conclusion

CBD oil has been widely being known and its popularity is taking over the world. Although it might not be legal with other countries as of this moment, many countries are already being able to legally get them for the treatment of their conditions. It's good to know that a lot of people are being treated without having to go under the knife anymore. Although it is still being researched, CBD oil is also known to help with the prevention and treatment of most cancers. This might be the miracle we are all been waiting for.
