ZORRO'S LEGACY

10/27/2026

a simple idea..

falls prey to a fevered dream...

manifests into an avatar,

it is a state of perpetual desire...

to be,

to exist!

to be free of shackles

from another man's manifest.

we stare...

through the bars of a jail cell crushing our dreams...

our soul

It is a cell of no tangibles

We are slaves to words

to the demands of the keepers

Does it matter this is our home?

some and most of us born...

nor that mine have been here as long

or longer?

We did not create the pale,

nor did those relegated to patches of land...

mockingly called reservations, where captivity learned to call itself home

Neither the brown brothers

nor the red brothers

made the borders

but we are equal in our desire to be...

to be human beings.

It is an idea..

once the backbone of this nation..

Zorro's Legacy..

To be,

To exist,

To matter!

Pale: an enclosed jurisdiction or boundary marked by stakes; the origin of the phrase "beyond the pale."
