Zealous, If

A Melancholy Poem That Ponders the Consequences of Choices

By Niles KoenigsbergPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

Simmer down for the domestic euphoria.

Isn’t it hard to flip the pan?

How easy to boil away the last storia.

The little last turtle to hold out his hand.

We exist swaying in our horseless carriage.

Back ‘n forth, back ‘n forth.

Infinitely riding in an unbridled marriage.

Son always cresting in the north.

Cavorting tenderfeet are lost in the idiocy of it all.

A certain moonbow of twitterpated dreams, and thoughts, brought into light.

Quixotic creatures in the space of mind, follow the cracked white music subtlety low in high frequencies.

I think about your shoes and smile.

Winds on the edge of vertigo start at dawn.

Eternized into this air that fills my vacuum skull.
