Tunes, melodies, lullabies, soft and sweet.

Fill the air when that time of year is near.

White snow falls cover the ground like a sheet;

Days are filled laughter and joy, not fear.

Lights cover the streets so it's never dark,

It's a wonder that everybody knows.

A perfect evening to stroll through the park;

It's even better when a hymnal flows.

Nights are never slept, kids are so eager;

They wish morning would come so they can peak.

Mornings start early as families gather,

To look at their tree, not mild or meek.

Waiting for the arrival of this day,

The children will hope and the parents will pray.
