You’ve carefully avoided what can be seen as a collapse of a star. Growing brighter and brighter until one day—it ceases to exist.

You’ve carefully avoided the imploding of my ever steaming shit called a life. Wrapping itself in more loathing and pity than it can take. It builds and builds until one day—it can’t take anymore.

You’ve carefully avoided the decay of my happiness. Dwindling down daily, flowing out disguised as tears. Gathering at the base of my feet until one day—it’s enough to drown in.

You’ve carefully avoided me repeatedly pressing the self-destruct button. Pressing and pounding the button until one day—it actually works.

You’ve carefully avoided the cataclysm which surrounds me daily. Or maybe I'm the cause of the apocalypse I witness. Ruining and destroying everything until one day—there’s nothing left.
