Your Warmth Has Left Your Lips
I feel the ice in your lips

Your Warmth Has Left Your Lips
Your warmth has left your lips tonight,
Leaving silence in its place,
I search for traces of your voice,
Within each familiar space.
The rooms remain the very same,
Yet everything has somehow changed,
A quiet emptiness now lingers,
Since your presence rearranged.
I think about the words we shared,
The comfort found in every smile,
The simple moments spent together,
That made each day worthwhile.
The evening shadows stretch and grow,
As memories drift through my mind,
Holding pieces of the love,
That time could never leave behind.
Some days the ache feels hard to bear,
Some days the loss feels far too near,
Yet love survives beyond goodbye,
Remaining through each passing year.
Though I can no longer reach for you,
Or hear the words you used to say,
Your memory walks beside me still,
And never truly fades away.
The bond we built remains intact,
Far deeper than the eye can see,
Living softly within my heart,
Exactly where you’ll always be.
Your warmth has left your lips tonight,
Yet love continues endlessly,
A precious part of who I am,
And who I’ll always be.
