Your Spirit Animal

I arrived at the fair ground ready to set up my mystery tent

Three days I’ll man this space reading my cards for strangers,

The days of the Gypsy appeal and believing in the spirituality

Is getting less and less and more and more becoming a danger.

This may be my last fair stall and I’ll need to really consider

What I would do to earn a living in the upcoming future,

It’s not like I have an abundance of skills and talents

People believing now that all Gypsies do is start rumours.

My tent is now set up and the sun is just beginning to rise

I’ll get breakfast while I can as my first reads will begin to arrive,

As much as people don’t understand, I am one of a very few

Authentic Gypsy’s still living and for the truth I do strive.

As I finish up breakfast my first customer wanders through

A young man, dressed finely with gorgeous long blonde hair,

His skin is tanned a golden hue telling me instantly he’s a sun lover

Spends most of his time in nature, on the beach, in the fresh air.

“Good morning young man how can I assist you on this fine day?”

He responds, “please conduct a reading for me using your cards,

As I need to understand who it is that I really am in this lifetime”

Wow I have a genuine believer of the spiritual world and it’s regards.

We sat one each side of my table and I gave him my cards to touch

He shuffled through them putting his essence out to the universe,

Then handed them back to me to enable me to deal them out

As I laid the cards I went with my gut feeling asking if he’d been cursed.

***

He didn’t believe so but was open to all that I would find this day

As I turned up each card to face him I was not at all surprised,

To find the animal kingdom and nature cards raising their heads

It seems this young man is a spiritual animal in disguise.

I see a shark swimming through my cards today with plenty to say

Telling this gentleman that he needs to discover his inner resources,

His ability to create new pathways by applying Shark’s teachings

Abundance is right ahead so use this energy and watch for the source.

Sharks are actually peaceful creatures when found swimming alone

Watch for the group mind when they travel together as they may be hostile,

Shark energy enters your life to guard you against a harmful person

But this person will be scared away by your new confidence that will arise.

***

Shark energy will remind you of the strength you hold within you

With their keen sense of smell they’ll show you how to sniff out your desires,

This energy needs you to keep moving like a shark has to keep swimming

And symbolises authority, curiosity, perception and knowledge you’ll require.

Keep your eyes fully open as this Shark energy is letting you know

You are about to be betrayed by someone you consider a close friend,

It is warning you of your vulnerability and a possible imminent attack

As Shark can sense the scent of death and a friendship about to end.

This spirit animal will give you the strength you need to overcome evil

And any harmful individual that is stopping you from reaching your potential,

Shark will give you the ability to come out ahead from any situation

No matter how hard it seems Shark will give you all the needed essentials.

I closed the reading by advising this young man to go and study

All of Shark’s attributes and leanings, to learn exactly who he himself is,

As Shark is swimming and circling his life to assist him in any way

He cannot go wrong with this spirit animal by his side honouring his.

The young man was ecstatic with his reading and the news he received

And left after paying me a generous tip and hugging me tight,

I felt strongly that I had served today’s purpose of being here

So packed up my tent, leaving the fair ground early, as it felt right.
