Your Presence Makes Me Happy
Photo by Yogendra Singh on Unsplash

In a caged surrounding

of controlled air-flow and lights

inside our brick and mortar boxes of independence on the pandemic disaster

touchless and motionless us

strive for a fresh breath of air

there comes our green angle

spreading wings of love,

a companion to touch

a friend to rely on

a vibe to opt for

a presence to cherish

a child to look after

a striking glory of our own,

it becomes an innate passion

of embraced emotions

and surreal notions,

in soothing companionship, in wandering delights

houseplants paint a brushstroke of green layers

of a vivid gorgeousness of joyful dreams

That summons happiness inside.
