There's a pile of dishes in the sink

but you stare into your phone and lip sync

to a song you don't actually know

praying for your social media to grow

and the dirty laundry is on the brink

maybe its time to rethink

the floor is as sticky as glue

there's mold in last week's stew

but in one hand you hold a mixed drink

not aware of the complex hoodwink

your toilet has a curious hue

your lawn is as tall as you

yet you stare at your phone without a blink
