Young blood into stars

a poem for lost life (2015)

Something is wrong

Time is gone

We're all at a loss

Too much spilled so easily

where has it gone

too early to make a difference

too much young blood, easily gone

goo smart, too talented, too skilled, too strong

question whats going on

some force is pulling them all away

then who is left to stay

for what of what purpose

before one can fill a purpose

Only hope somewhere

theres a place for you

do something bigger

than ever had chance to

lead an army

inspire a nation

maybe somewhere separate

you breathe your existence

maybe you'll be the inspiration

maybe you'll be the reason

to cure a horrible condition

maybe you can spark the spark

to ignite change, just like a star

shining bright through darkness

from a million miles away

so high in the sky

at a distance, you are safe

lighting a way for the lost

you are a gain- not a loss

maybe you can be better

by all the hearts you touched

maybe you make it better

maybe we learn the patience

maybe we find the better way

because you are somewhere

trying to light the way

if we only knew to look

if we only looked to find

that idea, that thought

that hope, that spark

heartbreak
