You’ll fly up from the fall

Poem

By Maryam BatoolPublished 4 months ago • 1 min read

All these routes

All these clues

Lead to a way

Map’s hard to lay

It's not just a place

To reach, you need no race

But, it’s fruitful for sure

It’s the result of your core

Paths may collide and drift

There might be no car no lift

The travellers believe or betray

Actions might differ their say

Flying birds will sing or scream

Robbers might steal yours dream

The journey looks very tough

The paths and patches feel rough

Trees might fall taking you down

People might laugh making you a clown

Roots of heart will stretch to the end

‘Till roots break apart and your heart again mends

But when you pass through the bumps

You’ll still get more hurdles and crumbs

But, there’ll be a spot when you’ll rest down a bit

There will come a trail where you’ll calm down and sit

After that long tiring journey you’ll seek your destiny one day

After passing through all the ditches there will finally come your way

And you’ll finally realise why you’ve been through that ray

So, you must stand tall, with your heart strong as a wall

There will be your rise one day, you’ll fly up from the fall

.

A/N:

There’s a funny backstory of this poem. I’m rn just sitting in my class and I was in a kind of rush competition with my students to see if they can write 200 words faster than me or not, so in this lil race, I wrote myself this poem. And Guess what? I wrote it in 8 minutes. And I Won! Hehe

I don’t know what I wrote, let’s pretend it’s good ;)
