Burn the paper, send

it high into the star-flecked

heavens, fragmented.

Breathe ash onto the

mist-and-brine-borne winds, unclench

my fist, relinquish.

//

River of sea air,

carry broken pieces of

ashen words upwards.

//

Stars, read in full the

lying script, and consume for

me the dust remnants.
