"You took Another"

As your wife

You were supposed to be mine.

I loved you then,

I love you now,

I will love you

in my next life too!

I was to be your wife

but you gave that to another,

she lived my life!

You left me for a lie,

forty years later

I still cry...

What should have been

was not to be,

You left me,

alone and broken,

not a final word spoken

to heal my wounds,

or give me peace.

A pain that will not cease!

My companion

to remind me of my stolen life.

Stolen when

you made her your wife.
