You Left Me

​You always told me that we were going to last forever, and trust me I knew that there was a slim chance. I had continuous doubts. But you got me to have hope, to believe in you, to believe in us. You built me up, you made me feel strong and on top of the world, and then you left. You left me, broken and disappointed. And maybe one day, you’ll find your way back to me. Maybe one day, we can fulfill the prophecy we made for ourselves. But that’s a big maybe, because you left me.
