I watch the storm building, advancing across the plain
My leaves quiver in anticipation
For the growing excitement of you
The impeding gale that awaits me
Oh, how thrilling it is
To be tempest-kissed and wind-caressed
To be twisted and turned
Bent backwards and forwards
Rocked in motion down to my roots
With thunder and lightening
I roll towards ecstasy
My bark be bare to your rain
As your wind fills all my spaces
And your water soaks in
Extracting your life-giving fluid
To bring forth my seed
Your power breaks across my limbs
In worship to the beauty of your fury
I bow to your will
But as quickly as you came, you
Depart
You leaving me
Waiting
On the next storm
