You Don't Fight Current
Wherever you go, there you are.
We live in the moment now. We don't fight the current while floating down the river of life. You never can go backward, you just end up staying in the same place, and you stay tired.
Take a breath, you are here now. That is all. At this moment what feels good to you? What brings a swelling, tingling feeling to your solar plexus? What causes you to fight a smile? Choose it. Let that smile shape your face. Let the scenery unfold, and float the river to the next fork, trident, or menorah. Choose your path. Let the scenery unfold. decide what feels good. Choose it. Over and over again, listen to your body and choose what your soul says is right for you.
As we choose ourselves, the rest falls into place.
As we allow ourselves to effortlessly float this river we realize we are rarely tired, because we are following our internal guide to the right path. The right path is all relative and individual perspective based, of course.
Crafted rather simply by whatever we choose at the moment.
Fighting the current, we are paddling harder and harder just to exhaust ourselves and go nowhere; we skew our own view and no longer appreciate the beauty around us.

A poetic expression of deeper water. An outlet for my philosophies. A refuge for deep-thinkers who are curious about root causes and connections. A home for the profound within me. A place for love to grow.
