Never again

In the dust of memories, traces persist,

Scars from a relationship that hurt.

Past that insists, in shadows persist,

Deep marks, which the soul has stirred.

It was a dance of shadows and oppression,

Where love was lost, it was transformed.

Crooked paths, bitter portions,

Marks that time, on the chest, engraved.

In the cutting words, in the aggressor look,

Fear flickered, pain resonated.

Echoes of the past, persist in color,

Of life, of being, the mark to leave.

But the past, although it leaves its wound,

It's just a chapter, not the end of the road.

New paths, the soul is remade, erased,

Brands transform into the desired journey.

The sun shines beyond the shadows of yesterday,

Strength emerges, hope is reborn.

From the past, lessons, learnings, the helm,

For a new life, a new dance.

And the marks of the past, although persistent,

They are strong testimonies of survival.

Path of healing, less unforgiving marks,

Life goes on, breaking resistance.

Even if the past brings scars,

They are signs of a soul that rises.

In the search for peace, for the light that always highlights,

New horizons, the heart protects.

Let the past not define today, now,

May brands become part of overcoming.

And, on the journey of life, it always gets better,

History rewrites itself, in a new redemption
