Author's Note: This is day nine of my fifty-day journey into the song/lyric-based senryū challenge. Today's poem is based on "Time Stands Still" by Rush, which you can listen to below. I listened to this song for the first time with my father last night. It's his favorite Rush song, and it touched me so much--and it touched HIM so much--that I had to write something inspired by it. I hope that you enjoy the song and my poem as well.
