Hello esteemed, distinguished visitors.

We are the resident inquisitors.

We bow before you, in deep respect.

It is a common submissive posture assumed by the human sect.

~

We are so glad you have made the descent to this world.

We trust this encounter will show how our future might be unfurled

Welcome to terra firma, Earth by name.

We invite you to feel the spark of the human flame.

~

Come sit by this stream. Ease your mind and respire deeply.

Let us introduce you to humanity. May our message fill you completely.

Although many don’t follow the same rules,

please let us introduce you on how to use some of our tools.

~

Can we offer you a drink of H2O?

The hydrogen finds oxygen in pure springs that flow.

We can add a lovely stimulant called tea that makes the mind bright,

or infuse a camomile plant, it calms the essence of the human sprite.

~

We are formed from clays

that hold the marks of millions of days.

Our world numbers 8.1 billion civilians.

We stem from ancient Sauropsid reptilians.

~

We are a strange lot who easily forget our place.

In Nature, we often take up too much space.

But in Nature, midst the sun, breeze, and shade,

many people find the way, from which they have strayed.

~

In Nature, ions replenish those that are lost,

when mind, heart and gut circuits get crossed.

We have recently learned that the heart, head and gut are connected

and that aliens control us already; something we had previously rejected.

~

Ancient stories, speak of a lifetime, measured in terms of forever.

Where a heart’s good and bad actions are measured with a feather.

Our aliens influence varying heart, gut and brain capacities.

They influence many species kindly or outrageous audacities.

~

To you we may seem like some simple beast.

We hope that we will not be on the menu of your next feast.

We'd like to entice you to work with us.

We are certain we can share things. There is lots to discuss.

~

You have reached us before we have contacted you.

That means you can do things we cannot do.

There are some of us who strive to live with love,

and serve each the other, as equals, like gods from above.

~

Many cherish the song in a child’s voice.

There is love for these little parasites that comes with no choice.

In children many see hope, when what goes up then comes down.

Children can often manage to make a smile come from a frown.

~

~

We are humans, and we have frailties.

We are full of inconsistencies.

Oftimes fear causes fleeing or aggression.

Slaves often rebel when suffering domination.

~

We small little humans, with many faults

We barely understand how hydrogen moves to form salts.

Yet, some of us are kind, reliable and honest, the salt of the earth.

We add flavor to life, let us show you our worth.

~

Some humans speak from the heart that shines through the eyes.

However, humans are often blind to what is truth and what are lies.

We are not always in harmony with the fish, fowl, insects and bees,

the flowers, and all types of life in land and seas.

~

We are a relatively speaking complex species.

We use money or things as various protheses,

to replace what is lacking, in what we call soul.

Perhaps as partners, we can move towards becoming whole.

~

Let us find a way to exist together.

Let us navigate through fair and foul weather.

Let us find a way to uses Nature’s powers,

and create a garden of friendship that bears fruitful flowers.

So well rhymed, I am particularly impressed with certain choices! Your apology for humankind takes the silly challenge a bit more seriously; wonderful flow to text and multimedia elements. "To you we may seem like some simple beast. We hope that we will not be on the menu of your next feast" Nice work!

I Disagree with most of what you said, but it was VERY well written. Just wanted to say good job. Well written, inspite of my disagreement, lol
