Yesterday, and Yesterday, and Yesterday
sorry, Macbeth
By Harper Lewis Published 5 months ago • Updated 5 months ago • 1 min read
Sir Patrick Stewart as Macbeth
Yesterday, and yesterday, and yesterday,
Flees further and faster night by maligning night,
To the first breath of existence;
And each of our tomorrows carries a shadow
From grave to cradle. Away, away eternal shade!
Love’s a shining beacon, a talented director,
Casting and calling players to the stage,
Raising the curtain to give the world a play
born of wit and candor, full of hope and joy
Everything meaningful.
