Analyzing and Accepting the Label of "Snowflake"

Yes I Am a Snowflake

Yes I am a snowflake

Not because a generation thinks I'm coddled. The same generation that taught me I was an individual with my own special traits. The same generation that bribed me with participation trophies and stickers for doing what I was supposed to do. That's not why I'm a snowflake.

Yes I am a snowflake

Not because I'm over sensitive, angered and upset by the smallest difference in opinion. Opinions that have been passed down through generations. Opinions that I was taught are as different as each human on this planet. Opinions that I was taught were the right of every person living. That's not why I'm a snowflake.

Yes I am a snowflake

Not because my kinds of ideas may be liberal or different from anyone else's. The same ideas that have been encouraged from day one. The same ideas that have been pushed and dragged out of me for essays and projects and assignments that ended in the trash. That's not why I'm a snowflake.

Yes I am a snowflake.

Because I am an individual that may appear similar to the rest at first glance but will show you my most inner secrets and designs if you only put in the effort to use a microscope. Because I know the power of more than one and recognize the difference between a single crystal and a snowball packed tight. Because I am destined to take the same make up of every drop that has come before me and create something that will never be replicated or seen ever again after my departure.

Yes I am a snowflake. And I will give you frost bite.
