Writer's Reign

Ink flows like the blood in my veins,

my hands ache from the writer's reign.

The feelings that swirl from the pen, never feign.

What you read, is what you get,

every emotion that my life spent,

inside my stories, is where they went.

My heart may well be bent, but not broken,

ideas in my mind, have woken.

Like disturbing a dragon in its keep; my soul does not weep, it writes.

And like a kite, in the wind, my words fly.
