Writer's Block

I don't know what to write about.

By Savannah McCainPublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

The struggle of being a sober artist

It is hard to come up with that one thing that blows away the minds of my readers

That one thing that would cause my readers to read for years

Send people home talking about it

Send people on Facebook to read to the people on the Internet

I cannot drink mood enhancers

Smoke inspiration, or

Cuddle with a girl named Molly.

I instead have to sit in front of my computer

Frustrated looking up words that rhyme with orange

That doesn’t happen when one is a sober artist

I have to think

Struggle

I yell at the computer

Tell it to write something inspiring

Tell it to come to life and write something about someone who did something awesome and changed the lives of everyone around them.

But this doesn’t happen

Instead I have to think

And become a victim of writer’s block

I'm just a potato trying to become the best vodka I can be. My writing has no purpose. When I write, I write what is on my mind at the time. Some days I can write something funny and sweet, and others I would write something dark.
