It’s so easy to stand up for yourself
When you finally have the strength
To do so
From someone who brought you down
It takes time
Get back up that latter
That horse
We all fall
But must
Get back up
Don’t let some fool
Take you down
I’m a fighter
So are you
That may feel
The same I did
Trapped…
Until you get the courage to do what’s right
Fight for you
And only you
I’m a survivor of sexual assault
About the Creator
Jennifer lindquist
I’ve always had a interest in poetry since I took a creative writing class in high school. Writing poetry is my safe place where I can either get positive or sometimes negative energy out by my writing of poetry.
