World of Wonders

An exploration

How I long to dance

In the swirling grass seas

Swaying and revolving

The breeze, my perfect partner

Catching me up like a dandelion seed

In my dreams, I swim

Through a field of coral flowers

Picking out a perfect clearing

For a lie down in the rippling caustics

Covered in the fantastic changing light patterns

Drawn up the canyon

In a thundering cloud

Like lightning, touching down on tiptoe

Alighting on powerful rustling backs

Diving off the cliff at the head of the pack

A perilous climb for fingers and driven line

Like squats in midair

Keep standing and you will appear

Face emerging in the swirling cloud mass

Rolling over the apex, coated in dust and sweat

Will I ever climb the stairs to heaven?

Roaring silence

Overtakes the jungle inhabitants

Every step larger than the last

Leaping through the gate
