Work and Toil

Work day to day until it ends. But when does the end happened and who long it lasts until it's time to do it again.

Blood on the hand

that toils.

Sweat on the brow

that stains.

Hard work done

as the end of the day

looms near.

For such a soul,

the bed is near.

It’s time to rest

and dry those tears

shed

when

blood is spilt

sweat is thick

and the mind

is lost

in pain and

stress.

Sleep comes fast

And sleep lasts

through the afternoon

through the night.

But the day

comes too soon

and suddenly,

it’s to toil

until your soul, itself,

can’t take it any more.

So with every sweat

so with every strain.

The work goes on

until your day is gone.
