We were warned

Wow.

We were warned. We were. Why were we working?

Writing with words, with widgets, with wanderlust when, wiser, we would've waited.

Wandering wistfully, writing well-worded works with wit, working wholeheartedly, we...

We were well; while we wielded weapons. Words.

Words, wasted words.

Wonderous words, wasted when we watched 'web wizards' weave worlds without waiting. Writing wonderous works wantonly, wildly, we watched, worried.

We writers, we wavered.

Worsened, weakened, whined, withdrew.

We were worn, wounded, wrecked, wretched, washouts.

Web won, we watched.

We wondered who we were: writers without words.

We went wild,

We went wailing,

We went writing

We went
