Words Hold A Power

In this universe of tumult and difficulty

Words hold a power areas of strength for so

They can repair a wrecked heart

Or on the other hand destroy a spirit

With a basic expression

We can lift somebody up

Or on the other hand push them to their knees

We can spread love and joy

Or then again plant seeds of disdain and misery

Words have the ability to mend

To bring solace and harmony

To offer comfort in the midst of hardship

They can be an encouraging sign

Guiding us through the most dark of nights

Yet, words can likewise be weapons

Sharp and cutting like a blade

They can wound and obliterate

Leaving scars that won't ever blur

So let us express ourselves astutely

For they hold a power so fantastic

To build or to tear down

To create or to dismantle

Allow us to utilize our words to rouse

To elevate and energize

To carry light to the most obscure spots

And hope to the weary soul

For eventually, it is our words

That will characterize us

Also, shape the world we live in

Allow us to utilize them astutely, with affection and sympathy.
