My life in a measure

There is a small thread

So tiny yet full of dread

My life in a measure

This holds me together

But with each passing day

The tiny thread gives way

With every lapse

The bare thread snaps

Yet, it holds on

Fraying with each yawn

Confusion overcomes

A vivid memory tugs

A planter of daffodils

My string stills
