So tiny yet full of dread
My life in a measure
This holds me together
But with each passing day
The tiny thread gives way
With every lapse
The bare thread snaps
Yet, it holds on
Fraying with each yawn
Confusion overcomes
A vivid memory tugs
A planter of daffodils
My string stills
