Gratitude
Gratitude
To the ones, I am grateful to have in my life.
Human existence is itself a convoluted rhythm of experiences that bring merriment and melancholy. It was often difficult for me to find goodness in moments of angst and dejection. Life is not always rays of sunshine, it was a mixture of light and darkness, hope and wistfulness, victory, and defeat, smiles and tears all placated in combinations in my existence. I believe contradiction is the beauty of mortality. The presence of dual forces has led to the creation of mankind. Humans are complex beings evolving every day and hustling towards their goals. But success means nothing to me if I did not have the right people to share it with. The ones who stood by me through thick and thin.

Your poem shows beautifully how powerful curiosity can be and how important it is to ask questions. The last line, "When we wonder, we wake up," makes us want to keep learning and exploring. Thank you for letting me read this beautiful poem.
Interesting tautogram using the letter 'W'.
