Wonderer by the Dark Stream

My Demise Part I

I dove right in to the deep end and swam down to the dark abyss. There I've stayed trying to sort through all my angst. A broken soul and a wonderer by the dark stream, I believed I was cursed to roam this black hole for all eternity.

Until one day a light shone bright on the other side. I could see all the parts of me I've given away to those in need. A guiding light to keep them from their own demise, and my own broken soul stitched back together piece by piece.

Slowly I wade out of the darkness and into the light. There standing before me I see a dream...

I look into your eyes and my upside down world is now right. At least until I close my eyes. Where visions of you flood my sight.

Safe in your arms I lie, a feeling I can't deny. Until I look into your eyes, and the truth becomes my demise.
