Women in toxic marriages

"why are you still there?"

This is for all women around the world.

Those who are in toxic marriages.

Why are you still there?

Why are you still with him?

Do you want to die before you get common sense?

Do you want health problems before you go?

Before you realize that you are with the wrong man,

Do you want to lose your self-esteem, your wisdom, and your peace of mind?

Consider your health; don't put him first.

Why are you still in his house?

Knowing that you are being abused.

What makes you believe that he will change?

You were very gorgeous and vibrant then.

Take a closer look at your life today.

You've become a shadow of yourself.

You've even forgotten the last time you were happy.

Remember that life has no duplicates; be useful to yourself.

Value your life because you will only live once on earth.

Leave that toxic marriage and start afresh.

Take a break; work on your mental health first.

Another man will love you.

He will treat you like the queen that you are.

I was in a toxic relationship and ask myself why did I stay; one reason is that when you are with someone "sick" you become sick, too. It's a viscious circle and breaking loose took planning and a lot of strength. Luckily, I had the strength. We don't need another man to love us, just to learn to love ourselves. Important piece you wrote. Thankful for it.
