Woebegone wolf,
Wailing wistfully,
Watching wondrous wilderness,
Waiting wishfully.
Woebegone wolf,
Whining wearily,
Wanting winters white,
Wandering warily.
Woebegone wolf,
Weakened with weather warm,
Wonders why we wrecked wolf’s world,
Whilst we were warned.
