My life

Oh how silly of me. I am truly sorry.

I’m sorry that the way I dress and feel, offends you.

I’ve no right, do I? Making you see me this way.

How did I dare? You noticed that I’m not the woman that I present as.

Though I tried my best, to pass unnoticed. You still felt the need to call me out.

Though I did nothing to infringe on your life. Though I caused no harm to you and yours.

Still, you had to show your fears. Fears, that because of what you may believe to be true, “though I know it not to be”, you attacked me.

Throwing vile lies, painting me with all your hatred.

Causing others to join in your mob, pitchforks at the ready, to hunt me down.

Monster that I am.
